60 Years of Peter's!
Peters Polar Parlor was built in 1969 by Peter DeVoria who ran the business until it was sold in 1986 to Lou Flask. It was acquired by Peter Haun in 2001, who ran it until he retired in 2023. Enter the Penizotto family, who also owns and operates both Big Dip of North Syracuse and Sno-Top of Manlius. Sisters Jacquie and Allison along with help from the rest of the Penizotto family manage day-today operations, carrying on the torch of this beloved Syracuse treasure.

Do you make ice cream pies?
We sure do! Just give us a call 24 hours in advance and we'll make anything that strikes your fancy, custom made to order!
Do you offer any vegan options?
We always have at least one vegan ice cream option available! (chocolate chunk, cookie dough chip, or classic cookie) --Plus... Italian ice, frozen chocolate bananas, slushies as well as our Dole Whip flavors, Dole Whip blast, Dole Whip glacier, Blue moon, Cactus cooler and Frozen Lemonade!
